- sweatmag.org: Imploding
Computer Industry & The Workers. Excerpts: "I have been

labor situation in the computer service side of the industry is now
in the state of implosion." "Here we are in the year 2000,
with the entire computer workforce in disarray. Managers who formerly

pages of his books for bathroom tissue. Computer programmers, field
technicians, and engineers hang their heads in worry, disgust, and fatigue
at the way their kind are being summarily treated."

- Warning: These postings may be too political for some readers:
- Philadelphia
Inquirer: SEC's Levitt not inclined to go quietly. Extract "As
I leave government, I'm going to take this opportunity to make some
very candid observations about how investors are misled," Levitt
said. "I'm going to tell them what they're entitled to and what
they're not getting." (If link is broken, view
PDF version [14KB]). Note: There is no
IBM-specific information in this article. It is interesting, though,
for investors of all kinds.
